Home Care Assistance of Albuquerque is actively hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers for 12-hour overnight shifts (8:00 PM–8:00 AM). We have multiple overnight openings available and are looking for caregivers who enjoy working nights while providing one-on-one care to seniors in the comfort of their homes.

Pay & Benefits

Starting Pay Based on Experience

  • $15.00/hour – No caregiving experience required
  • $16.00/hour – 6+ months of professional caregiving experience
  • $17.00/hour – Medical Assistant certification or 4+ years of professional caregiving experience
  • $18.00/hour – Active CNA license
  • Additional $1.00/hour weekend differential

Additional Compensation

  • $175 attendance bonus every payday
  • Overtime opportunities available
  • Performance-based raises after six months

Overnight Caregiver Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with bedtime routines
  • Overnight safety monitoring and supervision
  • Mobility assistance and transfers
  • Fall prevention
  • Toileting and incontinence care
  • Medication reminders
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal or snack preparation
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent throughout the night

No Experience? We'll Train You.

If you're dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Our training includes:

  • Paid orientation at your hired hourly rate
  • Hands-on caregiver instruction
  • Shadow shifts with experienced caregivers
  • Ongoing coaching and mentorship
  • Continued support after training

Qualifications

Applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be able to remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout overnight shifts
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Possess a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and active auto insurance
  • Have a smartphone for clocking in and documentation
  • Be dependable with excellent attendance
  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Successfully pass required background and drug screenings
