Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention
• Prepare meals and maintain clean, safe home environments
• Provide transportation to appointments and social engagements
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Follow detailed care plans and accurately document client condition changes

Schedule & Expectations

• Day shifts ranging from 3 to 6 hours, with occasional 8-hour shifts
• Availability required every other weekend
• Willingness to travel within approximately 25–30 miles for client visits
• Dependability, punctuality, and effective communication essential
• Schedules assigned based on client needs and your availability

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• Clear English communication skills
• Smartphone for scheduling and communications
• Successful completion of paid training and orientation
• Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation
• Minnesota CNA registration preferred (PCA certificate not accepted)

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 1 year of CNA or caregiving experience
