Overview

Join FirstLight Home Care as a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing essential in-home support to clients in the Bloomington, Edina & Apple Valley areas. We are hiring now for compassionate CNAs with active Minnesota registration to deliver personalized care that enhances client independence and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting
• Support safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Prepare meals and maintain cleanliness in client homes
• Drive clients to medical appointments, errands, and social outings
• Offer reliable companionship and engagement each shift
• Follow care plans thoroughly and document client status

Schedule & Work Environment

• Day, evening and weekend 4 - 12 hour shifts
• Ability to work at least every other weekend required
• Work takes place in client homes across the Bloomington / Edina and surrounding metro area
• Driving may be necessary for appointments and errands; reliable transportation required
• Physical activity includes standing, walking, lifting, and mobility assistance

Requirements

• Current CNA registration valid in Minnesota
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (driving required)
• Clear English communication skills for caregiving and documentation
• Working smartphone for scheduling and communication
• Successfully complete paid training and orientation
• Ability to perform role duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred

• 1+ years of caregiving or related healthcare experience preferred
