Amada Senior Care of Jacksonville is hiring experienced caregivers to provide in-home care throughout the Jacksonville area. We offer a variety of shifts and scheduling options to fit your availability.

Compensation & Benefits

• $17–$20 per hour (based on client needs and level of care)

About the Role

Most assignments are designed to provide consistent schedules and long-term client matches. While occasional fill-in shifts may be available, we focus on creating dependable schedules for our caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments when needed
• Document care provided and report changes in condition

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for caregivers who are:

• Dependable and punctual
• Professional
• Strong communicators
• Reliable with attendance

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional caregiving experience required
• CNA license or HHA certification strongly preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test (or ability to obtain)
• Active Level 2 AHCA Clearinghouse background screening (or ability to obtain) - https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers

Preferred Experience

• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Hospice or palliative care
• One-on-one home care
