Job Title: Part-Time CNA (Day/Weekend 12 hour Shifts)

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Overview

FirstLight Home Care is hiring a part-time CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) to provide in-home support a client in Edina, MN. Applicants must have an active CNA registration in the state of Minnesota. This role is focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care that supports clients’ daily routines and independence.

What You’ll Do (Performance-Based)

• Provide hands-on personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Safely assist with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community activities
• Deliver reliable companionship and engagement during each shift
• Follow care plans and document or report changes in condition

Schedule & Expectations

• Daytime / Weekend 12-hour shifts, current shifts are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday (NOT overnights)
• Ability to work at least every other weekend required
• Travel to client home in Edina
• Drive client to appointments as needed
• Run errands as requested
• Consistent attendance, punctuality, and communication are essential

Requirements

• Active CNA registration in the state of Minnesota
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance (driving is required)
• Ability to communicate clearly in English for care delivery and documentation
• Working smartphone for scheduling and communication
• Completion of paid training and orientation
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Experience

• 2+ years of caregiving or related experience

Work Environment
