Job Summary

• Provide compassionate, non-medical care to seniors in the Jacksonville region
• Long-term client relationships promote steady assignments
• Flexible shift lengths available (4, 6, 8, 12 hours)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate between $17 and $20 per hour based on care complexity
• Weekly pay for steady income flow

Essential Duties

• Help clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility
• Provide friendly companionship and emotional care
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Transportation assistance to appointments (as needed)
• Document care activities and report any changes in condition

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience required
• CNA or HHA credentials preferred
• Valid CPR certification
• Current negative TB test or ability to obtain prior to employment
• Background clearance through AHCA Clearinghouse Level 2 or ability to obtain: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• Ability to support client mobility safely

Preferred Experience

• Dementia and Alzheimer's care
• Hospice and palliative care experience
• Long-term, one-on-one in-home care
