Amada Senior Care Jacksonville is hiring experienced caregivers to support clients in their homes throughout the Jacksonville area.

About the Role

We prioritize consistency and continuity of care. While occasional shift coverage may be available, most assignments are designed to provide steady schedules and long-term client matches.

This role is a great fit for caregivers who prefer predictable hours and ongoing assignments.

What We’re Looking For

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Transportation to appointments (when applicable)
• Document care and report changes in condition

Requirements

• 18 months to 2 years of caregiving experience
• CNA license or HHA certification strongly preferred
• Current CPR certification
• Negative TB test (PPD within 12 months or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Active Level 2 AHCA Clearinghouse background screening (or ability to obtain) https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to assist with mobility and transfers

Preferred Experience

• Alzheimer’s and dementia care
• Hospice or palliative care
• One-on-one, long-term home care
