POSITION SUMMARY:

Home Care Assistance is seeking experienced, compassionate professionals to provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care to hospice patients and their families. This role is specifically designed for caregivers who are confident in supporting end-of-life care with high levels of professionalism, empathy, and clinical maturity.

Compensation and Financial Incentives

  • Base Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on verifiable experience).
  • Bi-Weekly Bonus: $175 attendance bonus every two weeks.
  • Overtime: Paid at 1.5x hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comfort measures and dignity-focused care for hospice patients.
  • Assist with personal care including bathing, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Execute safe transfers and ambulation (up to 150 lbs. with assistive devices).
  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship to both patients and their families.

Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional hospice or end-of-life caregiving experience (verifiable).
  • Availability: Minimum of 24 hours per week.
  • Licensing: Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
  • Compliance: Must pass a comprehensive background check, driving record review, and drug screen.
