Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a plus.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia is highly valued.
• Ability to perform patient observation and monitor changes in health status effectively.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as needed for client support.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow instructions accurately is required.

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care while maintaining client dignity and respect.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client conditions.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with care plans.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the living space, including laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance overall well-being.
