POSITION SUMMARY:
Assisting Hands Home Care is actively hiring passionate and dependable individuals to provide non-medical home care services to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical care and companionship to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, hygiene
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Prepare meals and provide medication reminders
- Offer transportation or assistance with errands as needed
- Maintain communication with the office staff and report changes in client condition
- Be reachable by phone for shift scheduling
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Must be resilient, adaptable, and caring
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must provide two references from past employers
- Ability to work in various service areas including Lombard, Villa Park, Addison, Bensenville, Wood Dale, Glendale Heights, Medinah, Itasca, Elmhurst, and more
- Must be comfortable working varied shifts (e.g., 9am–1pm, 8am–8pm, 1pm–5pm, overnight)
- Previous experience as HHA, PCA, or CNA
