You’ll assist clients with non-medical home care services such as personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, and more. Required Education:
- High School Diploma Or Ged
Preferred Education:
- Completion Of A Caregiver Or Cna Training Program (Not Mandatory)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal prep, shopping, laundry, and light housekeeping
- Remind clients to take medications (no administration)
- Help with safe transfers and mobility
- Communicate regularly with family members and staff
- Report any changes in client condition to the office
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Additional Requirements:
- CPR certification (required before first shift)
- Ability to pass a background check
- Dependable, friendly, and compassionate personality
- Able to work independently and adapt to different situations
- Must be eligible to be bonded and insured
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Physical ability to perform caregiving duties (lifting, standing, etc.)
Work Hours:
Varied: Part-time, per diem, day/night/weekend/holiday shifts.
